We love food

That’s why we are event caterers! We are also very lucky to be in an area with amazing produce all around and firmly believe that it is imperative to use the best quality, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Whilst we have some suggested menus to give you inspiration and an idea of dishes that might work well together, we’re always happy to look at alternatives to suit you – it’s all part of our bespoke catering service.

Example Wedding Catering

Canapés

Confit duck leg, Cheese beignets, Balsamic tomato tart, Farmhouse sausage

Wedding Breakfast

Starter
Abbotside seafood trio

Main
Finest Yorkshire Dales Beef (locally reared Topside or Sirloin) slowly spit roasted
with a herb and wholegrain mustard crust.
Medley seasonal vegetables tossed in a herb butter
Roast Potatoes
Yorkshires
Vegetarian option - roast Mediterranean vegetable lasagne

Dessert
Chocolate, cherry & pistachio
Dark chocolate and cherry cheesecake, cherry tart, cherry brandy, fresh cherries,
cherry tagliatelle, dried cherries, and a pistachio crumb and brittle

Coffee
Ground percolated coffee, Yorkshire Tea, milk and chocolate mints

Evening Food

Hog roast
Marinated in cider and cooked slowly for 15-20 hours, served with crispy sea salt crackling.
Served in Cocketts of Hawes’ quality bread rolls, with homemade cider & apple sauce
and sage and onion stuffing.

Vegetarian – Goat’s cheese, butternut and beet burgers

Fish & chips
Succulent cod in a crispy batter, triple fried chips, handmade tartar sauce and mushy peas.
Served on plates in paper bags and a bespoke newspaper with photos of your choice.

Dessert
Tart Citron
Tangy and refreshing lemon tart with raspberry coulis. 

Coffee
Ground percolated coffee, Yorkshire Tea, milk and chocolate mints

Grazing Table
Pork pies, hams, cheese and breads A grazing table with pork pies, cold roast ham, cheeses, chutneys and pickles with Yorkshire Butter and local cheeses
